FUE technique is the most applied hair transplant technique in the world and in Turkey. To summarize briefly, with this method, hair follicles are taken from the donor area. The hair follicles taken are transplanted to the bald area. Then, this process is a process that allows to obtain the most natural image possible. How is hair transplantation performed with the FUE technique?
- The hair in the area where the healthy roots needed for Hair Transplantation will be collected is completely shaved.
- During the operation, the person does not feel any pain. In other words, the head area is anesthetized with local anesthesia.
- The grafts, including the hair root groups, are started to be collected one by one with micro motors with special needle tips (0.8 mm). This procedure minimizes graft (hair root) loss.
- The natural angle of the hair is looked at. Sowing is done according to the direction of emergence.
- Grafts are placed in the opened channels. By the way, the most important point at this stage is to plant the grafts in accordance with the direction of hair growth.
Details of FUE Technique
- The skin in the donor area, where the hair follicles are taken, is cut. This process is applied only on hair roots.
- There is no stitching or cutting in the area where the hair follicles are collected. Small abrasions smaller than 0.7 mm occur only in the area where the roots are collected. However, these abrasions close in a few days and heal without a trace.
- Grafts collected from the donor area using the FUE technique are not only used in hair transplantation. It can also be used for eyebrow, mustache and beard transfer.
- During the operation, the condition of the area where the intact hair is located is checked. In summary, an average of 4000 hair follicles are taken at a time.
- 2-3 hair strands can be found in each graft.
- Another reason why this method is preferred is that there is no pain in the days after the operation and the recovery period is short.
- It does not leave a visible scar from the outside in any way.
- It can be applied to both men and women.
- Since local anesthesia is applied before the operation, the feeling of pain is minimal.
- Hair follicles taken from the healthy area with this method are also used in mustache, beard and eyebrow transplantation operations.
- The healing process takes a very short time. Then the patient returns to his daily life after the operation.
- After the operation and the following days, there is no loss of sensation in the donor area.
- The state of the new hair comes out with a harmonious and natural appearance as before.
